The City of Nassau Bay is lucky to have driveway/alley pickup for
Residential/Household Trash
-Mondays and Thursdays residents will keep household trash at the garage or back door in 20-30 Gal containers. Weight not to exceed 75 lbs.
- In order to keep our neighborhood clean, residential trash should not be placed curbside.
HEAVY TRASH
-Mondays ONLY heavy trash and Greenwaste (bundled, tied or bagged, 50 lb limit)
-Residential household trash is still placed near garage/back doors on Mondays
-Please put heavy trash out Sunday evenings or before 7am Mondays. Place near curbside closest to your residence. Please do not pile in yards.
-NO heavy trash or green waste to be out front on Thursdays
- Heavy trash is collected ONLY on Mondays CURBSIDE. Appliances, furniture, mattresses, and similar items may be placed curbside for collection, provided that they do not exceed 50Ibs in weight. Certain items and volume may require additional fees. We, Ameriwaste, cannot go onto private property to remove any items. Appliances that contain refrigerant must be drained and tagged by a certified refrigerant recycler prior to disposal. Water heaters need to be drained. Sheetrock, concrete, lumber, bricks or similar items are considered construction debris and will require special pick up with additional fees. Please contact the Ameriwaste Customer Service Office at 281-331-8400 to have these items picked up.
- No hazardous materials are allowed.

Residential Recycling
Residents can participate in residential recycling for a small annual fee through AmeriWaste. To enroll in the recycling program, please contact AmeriWaste Inc. at 281.331.8400.
