Off leash pets...

The city has  steps to take if we see an off leash pet, cat or dog in our community:

What you or your neighbors should do is call when it is happening - Animal Control if it is during business hours 281-333-2944 and if after-hours or weekend call Police Department Dispatch 281-333-4200. Animal Control Officer or Police have to be there when it is happening to witness it and can give warning or tickets for this since it is against City Ordinance.

Also, be aware that several residents have reported sightings of coyotes in Nassau Bay, and even one resident sighting on Saxony Lane.  Coyotes are aggressive hunters and will go after pets. They are attracted to animal waste as a method of tracking their prey, so picking up after pets will help to keep our pets safe.

Thank you to all of our residents who abide by the city ordinances in regard to their pets, and let's be sure to remind our neighbors to do the same!
